Cambridge Camera Club 72h competition

The club held its first judged image competition since lockdown this week. 5 topics were advised at 00.00 on Friday 3rd July, and we had to submit a colour or monochrome image to illustrate each by midnight on Sunday 5th July.

The topics were chosen to be possible even for those still self-isolating: ‘Isolated’; ‘Tested’; ‘Gardening’; ‘Walking’; and ‘In the Mirror’.

This sort of documentary/illustrative/story-telling photography suits my style, and I came first!

The first 2 and last 2 images had been captured on the first street photowalk I’d done for 4 months, in Cambridge on the Friday afternoon.
