Yattendon in Berkshire

On Thursday we met up with our elder daughter for the first time since well before lockdown. We parked in the lovely Berkshire village of Yattendon, around half way between Cambridge and Bristol, and had a socially-distanced walk in the farmland and woods north of the village.

I took my infra-red gear, which works well in the intermittent drizzle we experienced, because wet soil, stonework and wood bark absorb infra-red strongly, increasing contrast.and texture.

The church of St Peter & St Paul in the village has a lovely churchyard and is surrounded by fine trees and houses.
