A range of images made during our 5-night visit to Hong Kong in November 2019:
The images below were taken in the very ‘local’ Sheung Wan commercial district west of the Central district on Hong Kong island, and on or near Hollywood Rd which is a little to the east, just south of Central.
I feel these fit best in the ‘travel photography’ genre, and soon I’ll post further short sets that make reference to the democracy protests and other struggles in the territory at the time, on temples and shrines, on Cheung Chau (one of the outer islands lying a ferry ride to the south-west), and another collection of more conventional street photography.
