Spent an enjoyable afternoon at the Cambridge Rugby Union Football Club vs Leicester Lions pre-season friendly game last weekend with Chris Fell, trying out the Olympus E-M1 mkii.
The autofocus has been improved over the mki and there's more dynamic range to play with in the files, but the biggest practical improvements are in the amazing speed of clearing of the image buffer and lack of electronic viewfinder lag and flicker. This makes the action much easier to follow, and the camera is now fully capable of acquiring focus extremely quickly and maintaining it at match speeds.
