Images from a couple of visits last week to Plas Newydd, a National Trust property that overlooks the Menai Strait and Snowdonia from Anglesey and has spectacular gardens.

We also walked near the village of Penmon at the far south-east corner of Anglesey, where there is a well-preserved priory dating from the 13th century, with a magnificant 16th century stone dovecote.
